The assignment from Bear to Betty: “Create a self portrait including a collection of a repurposed household item.”
Betty chose a collection of plastic shower curtain rings for repurposing.
Betty wrapped the shower curtain rings in scrap fabric and linked them together to create a necklace.
She closed the neckline with a strip of black lace and sealed it with a cameo. She then wove a strand of peach pearls through the rings for a touch of added depth and drama.
